1. Service Description

Fugaku is a Japan equity intelligence platform that provides AI-generated analysis of Japanese corporate filings sourced from EDINET (Financial Services Agency of Japan). The platform consists of five modules: Gaifu (Filing Intelligence), Enkei (Signal Detection), Namiura (Governance Intelligence), Shinsui (Data Infrastructure), and Yamabiko (Earnings Analytics). Module availability depends on your subscription tier.

2. Not Investment Advice

Fugaku is not a registered investment adviser under any jurisdiction. All outputs — including filing reports, governance scores, sandbagging indices, signal alerts, and earnings analytics — are for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Governance assessments (Namiura) and earnings implied ranges (Yamabiko) are statistical estimates, not predictions or guarantees. Always consult a qualified financial professional and verify data against original filings before acting.

3. AI-Generated Content

Reports are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic). AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations of source material. Fugaku does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any output. You are solely responsible for verifying information against the original filing on EDINET.

4. Plans, Pricing, and Payment

Fugaku is offered under four tiers: Free (pay-per-summary at $8.99), Professional ($9,999/year), Institutional ($89,999/year), and Enterprise ($299,999/year). All paid plans are annual contracts. Module access, seat counts, summary limits, and API quotas vary by tier as described on the pricing page.

Additional seats: Institutional plans include 5 seats (+$1,500/seat/month overage). Enterprise plans include 15 seats (+$2,500/seat/month overage).

NET30 invoicing: Available for Institutional and Enterprise plans. Invoices are issued via Stripe with NET30 payment terms.

Free tier credits: Per-summary credits at $8.99 each are non-refundable once a report has been generated. Unused credits do not expire. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

5. Free Trial

New accounts may receive a 14-day free trial with access to Professional-tier features, limited to 5 AI-generated reports. Trial reports are delivered with a "TRIAL" watermark and may not be redistributed. One trial per email address. Trial data (watchlists, saved reports, chat history) is preserved after expiration and reactivates upon subscription. No credit card is required for the trial.

6. Refund Policy

Per-summary credits (Free tier): If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our end, your credit will not be consumed. Once a report is successfully generated, the credit is non-refundable.

Annual subscriptions: Annual plans may be cancelled at any time, but are non-refundable for the remainder of the contract term. Access continues until the end of the paid period. If you believe you were charged in error, reach out via our contact form.

7. Acceptable Use

You may use Fugaku outputs for internal research, analysis, and investment decision-making within your organization, consistent with your subscription tier. Institutional and Enterprise plans permit sharing within your licensed seat count.

You may not: (a) redistribute reports outside your organization without written permission, (b) represent AI-generated content as your own professional analysis to clients or the public, (c) use the service to generate content that violates applicable securities laws, (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract Fugaku's analysis methodology, signal detection logic, or scoring algorithms, (e) exceed your plan's API rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions, or (f) share API keys or login credentials outside your licensed seat count.

8. API and Webhook Terms

API access (Shinsui module) and webhook/Slack integrations are available on Institutional and Enterprise plans. API keys are issued per account and must not be shared externally. Rate limits apply per tier. Fugaku is not responsible for data delivered to your configured webhook endpoints or Slack workspaces once transmission is complete. You are responsible for securing your receiving infrastructure.

9. Intellectual Property

Source data is publicly available on EDINET and belongs to the respective filing companies. AI-generated outputs are licensed for use within the scope of your subscription tier (personal use for Free/Professional, organizational use for Institutional/Enterprise). The Fugaku brand, platform design, analysis methodology, signal detection algorithms, and scoring systems are proprietary.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fugaku and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated reports, governance scores, earnings analytics, or signal alerts. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account.
